Alarm System Siren
The alarm system siren or speaker is the component of a burglar alarm system that is responsible for making the lound squaking sound when the alarm system is activated due to a breach. It is usually installed in a secure location such as the attic, closet or crawl space to protect it from tampering.
Indoor alarm sirens are the most commonly used siren on a burglar alarm system however outdoor alarm sirens are becomming more popular. Outdoor sirens make it easier to attract attention from the neighbours thus deterring most intrusions. Most criminals will flee a scene when the risk is high of being seen or caught.
