Motion detectors is the device on your burglar alarm system that senses motion within a predetermined range. They are usually installed in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms. There are different types and models of motion detectors that cover specified ranges and detection sensitivities. You can also get a pet immune motion detector if you have pets too.
Once the motion detector senses motion, it transmits data to the alarm panel to trigger the alarm system and dispatch the police department. You coverage area will determine how many motion detectors that you will need.
