The security alarm system control panel is the centralized computer interface that controls the devices and functions on any hardwired or wireless security system. All alarm devices communicate directly with the alarm control panel to transmit data such as instrusons, errors and general status reports. It processess all of the alarm system programming functions.
The alarm control panel is usually installed in a secure closet, attic or crawl space to prevent detection and tampering. It is the most expensive piece of a home security alarm system to repair and replace.
